Irgendwann musste ich ja damit anfangen: Plainair-painting… also draussen bei Wind und Wetter malen. Ich gebe zu, der erste Versuch fand «draussen» auf unserem Balkon statt und zeigt die Aussicht Taleinwärts. Für mich ein enormer Lernprozess bezüglich Farben und Farbverläufe in der Natur, wenn diese Fotorealistisch dargestellt werden sollen.

At some point I had to start with this: plain air painting… painting outside in wind and weather. I admit, the first attempt took place «outside» on our balcony and shows the view into the valley. For me, this is an enormous learning process regarding colors and color gradients in nature if they are to be represented photo realistically.
